So it seems Nick did a duet kind of thing with Jennifer Page. That will be out on iTunes on the 20th. And that there is a video for. That I had to find out about on ONTD (and not the flist....).

..where I forgoet to post for ages, even though I´m around every single day.

Anyhow, NanNo is somewhat started, but I still haven´t decided what to write, so who knows how that will turn out. At this point I´ll be using it for CoA actually, since I didn´t have time to outline for my other idea and flying blind is impossible with that one. Though knowing me, there is a good chance I´ll start over or jumping elsewhere on the planet or back in time or whatever, just to keep writing and all.

And my motto is as always; when stuck, write porn or kill someone (or, you know, do both!). Here´s to hoping there may be smutty smut smut instead of no-characters-left-but-the-zombies (not that there are any zombies right now, but then again, it´s only November 2nd...)

I also need to get my plane tickets for Denmark, so bubbleforest, expect me to email you with potential times and such later today. :)

Lastly, SeSa has yet to freak me out, which usually means I´m in for some wall-hitting and full blown panic attacks come December. Oh joy!

And speaking of SeSa, I shall get my Dear Santa letter written later today as well. :)

Just a quick note, as I just wantched Aarons DWTS performance on YouTube. The song he danced the cha cha cha to is by a Norwegian band/artist, Madcom. One of the guys from Madcom, WON the Norwegian version of this show a few years back (like last year or the year before).

Interesting choice of song!

Also, he did pretty good actually. And yay for the Boys being there to cheer him on. Nick looked all proud (and hot..)

Oh, and guess what, I now have internet at home. I have a terrible dl speed og 56kb/s though (compared to the 600+ I´m used to), so downloading will from now on be the end of me...

There is still no internet at my new place (nor are there pictures, which my brother in law keeps reminding me of), but at least now I have got tv channels to watch. And my mom allows me to come home and download new episodes so I do not have to go crazy waiting. (I also have to teach her how to download herself, so she can stay updated with Bones, he he)

New SPN is LOVE, as is new Merlin!

Am not allowing self to listen to any more new!Boys songs until the album. Also, hope someone in the US will make Helpless and the videos off that special iTunes pre-order available to those of us who cannot buy it from the US iTunes store and does not have it available in their own (not in the Norwegian one at least)

Oh, and I have to have MOBILE BROADBAND you guys!!!!! I can't get internet any other way. *cries* I'm pretty sure I wo't get half the speed I am used to. *cries some more*

Lastly, Mette dear, we must try to find a time (when I have internet) to talk about mini-Sparkle in December *dances, though is still crying a little*

Another new song, that I had no idea if has been all over the flist, as my reading of it has been full of fail this past week.

See, school started with a bang last Monday, so I am now spending every day from 8:30 to 16:00 digging in the ground looking for ~~buried treasure~~old artifacts and the like. Yes, it's the field practice part of my semester. So far, it's been a lot of fun, hard work and rain. It's only until the end of august, but it does mean that between this and moving, I have no chance in hell of getting my rpf big bang story done. So yes, I have given up, but do plan on finishing the story I wanted to write by the end of the year. And possibly start a new one, because this picture made me think of how they look like undercover cops or agents (bad ones at that....) and now there is a story forming in my head damnit.

And there might be vampires involved in that one as well. Or maybe Howie finally gets to be a gangster...

And also, I'm getting the keys to my new apartment later today!!!!!!!!

Finally, BOYS OH BOYS!!!!! Never stop dancing!

Changes are coming

Since I now officially have only two years left in school, I have decided I can afford to move out. So what I've been doing lately is searching for a place to live. Of course, since everyone and their mother is looking for housing at the moment (start of the semester, always like this), it's not easy, and the prices are HIGH!

But I think I've found a place or two. Going to go check one place out on Sunday, and I left a message on the other place since they didn't pick up the phone. Once is a smallish apparent with a separate bedroom, and the other is a room in a big apparent (but I would be sharing with four others). Both are within my price range though, so we'll see what happens.

I really hope I can get one of them, because there really aren't much out there that's not way too expensive.

Don't know if this will work, but let's try!

This is the appartement with the separate bedroom. Furniture is not included, so ignore the mess.
This is the place where I would be renting a room only. This place has furniture, as well as broadband included in the price.

Most of you will not understand what it says, but at least you can look at the pictures :)

Oh, and I'm staying in Bergen, but since I now only have two years left, I have decided it's time to move out from my mom's house. She agrees, though she does admit she will miss the company. Of course, she'll probably just miss the easy access to the television series I've got on DVD/downloaded. I fear I may loose my SG1 DVDs, as well as Torchwood and Doctor Who. Must remember to make sure she doesn't hide them!

Having had a few days to calm down, I think my feelings about this are still somewhat the same. But having just read a lot of reactions on the matter of CoE, and seen how fandom is behaving (like idiots), it's making me see that while I am very much upset and think there were a thousand other way this could have gone, I also know better than to blame the writers. Rusty however, him I do blame. He's the showrunner, this was ultimately his decision, and in light of him moving to the US, I do feel that this was his way of going out with a bang.

And a bang it was. Because it was an amazing series. Great filming, writing and acting. There is no way around that fact. It was great right up until the end of episode four. And no, not because they killed Ianto, because that was done beautifully. Episode five just didn't deliver for me. It didn't give us the Captain Jack Harkness we knew and loved. The man who yes, actually might sacrifice his grandson given no other choice, but who would have fought with everything he had to avoid it. He would have screamed and kicked and stood alone against the 456 with a very big gun before he did that! So yeah, the ending, the last episode, that's where they dropped he ball. Up until that, tit was amazing, but the ending was a bit of a let down, compared to how great the rest of it was.

They set a pace with the first four episodes, and in the last one, they just kind of dropped it. It had it's moments of course, but compared to the other four, it couldn't measure up. And that's not how a last episode should be! But again, I don't think this comes down to the writer of that episode. Writers work with what they are given, they do their best and hope it works. In this case, it just didn't..

One thing I don't understand if how people can think that what happened in 1965 was something Jack would never do. This is Jack, the man who went from con man to protector of the world. We knew he had done some rather questionable things, and they even say it right there in the series. He did it, bought the children to the 456, because they needed someone who didn't care. And that was Jack at a point in time, he just simply didn't care. But this I felt we already knew, so why the f are people upset about that one.

Killing Ianto, now that is upsetting (killing 3/5 of the team in the span of a few episodes is even more upsetting), but Jack having been less than perfect in his past, really isn't news....

I hope Jack finds his Doctor and that John Barrowman returns to Who, even as a companion with Eleven. I think he may need the Doctor right now, and that maybe he is the only one who can help.

And if there ever is a series four, I can think of a dozen ways to bring Ianto back, while still staying true to the storyline. So perhaps they should hire me as showrunner...

Just finished the last episode. While yes, the series was good, there are still a few things I need to say...

WTF show!!! W!T!F!!!!

While I loved the first three episodes, the decision to kill off Ianto, and then have Jack act the way he did in episode five, it's crap! I'm sorry, but the show's gotta have better big finishes than killing off main characters. Hell, they killed two last season,it's been done! Hell, I'd take the damn reset button instead of this. Yeah, it was good, it started amazing, but the last episode was a bit of a let down. I don't know, it could be that I really liked Ianto, but seriously, it was not good. Like pre-cyberwoman not good....

At this point, unless Torchwood is completely reinvented, I don't know if I can watch it anymore. If there are more seasons that is... It's just, everything I liked about the show is gone. I liked Tosh and Owen; gone. I loved Ianto; gone. The damn hub; gone.

So basically show, I'm done with you!

I just got my VIP Platinum package for the Copenhagen concert!!! Am going with bubbleforest again of course, and it's gonna be a-freaking-mazing and legen-waitforit-DARY!!!!

Got ready to celebrate myself turning 26 (donotwantdamnitamnotold!!!!)

Had brownie and muffin (which my mom made)

And a bottle and a half of wine!

Tried to kill my toe (gonna loose that nail... joy!)

Danced a heck of a lot!

Got good!drunk but not wasted

Had burger and fries before we got picked up (by my mom, luff her!)

Put a band-aid on my toe (bye bye nail!)

Fell asleep around 4:30ish

And today, one of our friends who could not make it yesterday has planned a day on her fathers boat. In the fjord! Where there is water. That moves! With waves! Imgonnadie!!!!

Now comes the fun part!

After much thought and possibly hitting my head against a few walls, I have decided which story I am writing for RPF Big Bang. In the end it was a battle between the!musical and CoA, and in the end, CoA won.

That was after I decided to throw in another popboy or two just to make it more real people'ish.

So, anyone up to giving me a quick backstory (date/place of birth, year, parents, important events) of JC, Lance and/or Chris? Because yes, the character will be at least based in reality!

Now, for those that might not know, CoA stands for Child of Avalon, which will be the third story in my vampire!AU. Wherein Nick is the only popboy, and he kind of changes his name and grows a taste for blood. Kind of...

I'm back from Camp Sparkle, tired and quite sad. I'm gonna miss all you guys!!!!!

The real world is a harsh place, which I hit pretty hard as I had to go straight to work when I got home. Am now waiting for the last two episodes of SPN to download completely, so I can watch them before I head off to bed. And then tomorrow, more harsh reality as I work from 9am to 6pm... And then I will have fun (and probably get drunk) as we (friends and I) drink wine, watch Eurovision and then head off to party like we just don't care!!

Sparklers, if I in a pixy sticks induced state promised fic or media or something, feel free to message or comment to kindly remind me ;)

So while the last of the files transfer over to JD Mac (via USB stick x100) I am finishing up packing and waiting for my mom to get home so she can drive me to the airport!

Because Sparkle is here baby, it´s here!!!!!!!

Tonight I´ll be staying with Mette, so I´m flying to Copenhagen in a few hours. There, much BSB fun will be had by both, sleep will not be had (at least not much), and tomorrow we fly to Birmingham. And where we go from there, I have no idea...

I´m counting on Mette to know though, or there is a slight chance we will end up in south Wales or possibly (very) northern Scotland. ;)

Helpless (feat. Pitbull)

First reaction, I kind of love it!

Now, while I do have to say I am liking the dance-y songs a whole lot better than the R&B type songs, if they are gonna go this route, they need to crank up the beat and just let themselves feel the music.

Though I have to admit, even though I love dance music, I'm not sure I want all of their stuff to be like this. Some songs that could do well in clubs are fine, but I also want their sound... No need to keep reinventing themselves, you know.

Ahhh, I am torn, because I love Fallen Angel (though it needs some work still), Masquerade and this one, but I also love Bigger! So if I get to choose (and Boys, if you see this, feel free to make mental notes right about now), I want an album with dance-y up-tempos that is still them and classic BSB mid-tempo that we all love so much, and a ballad or two! Mostly their sound, but with some time-to-hit-the-club tracks as well!

Now, I should probably get starting on packing, as I leave for Copenhagen tomorrow afternoon right after I get back from the library (where I will be from 9-14). I'll be staying the nigh at Mette's (YAY!!!!!) and then on Friday we are off to Sparkle! Weeeeee!!!!!
